Contact-Fragments
From the amorphous- rough mass to the sculpted, refined, precious one. From non-existence to existence, and then to evolution, progress, reflection. Ideas, situations, notions, facts, universe nature, technology, music. Without them we would be lost, nothing, or at least not the same. Contact, with the past we forget, with the future we reclaim. I’m not sure if the creations of “Contact-Fragment” collection came up from memories of the past, present or future. If they are traces of an older or later civilization, of the Earth as we know it or not. One thing I know well: Within their simplicity or complexity, they finally hide incredible emotion. Result: Metal and stone, fabric and leather come together somewhere in spacetime, somewhere between sense and emotion, between the conscious and the unconscious they become symbolic and problematic…
